I feel so... lagged.

but ANYWHO

i feel like im seriously behind on cosplay. I'm almost always thinking about it, but from time to time i get more into it than normal. (...i guess that makes sense).
Comparing to my first year of cosplaying back in 2007, the flow of con-going has seriously slowed down. I used to go to AnimeSupercon, FloridaSupercon, Chibi-Pa, Metrocon, AND Megacon. It was such a frequent thing to go to that sometimes i wouldn't tell my mom about a con until the night before or the day of, and she'd just let out a sigh and go "...Again? Have fun and be safe."
But then school, band, and family problems as well as money became an issue.

btw I have NO idea what happened to AnimeSupercon. They changed it to AnimationSupercon, and then it went suddenly went *poof*

I look back at my closet and check out my cosplays, all of them with the exception of my shinigami garments, are somehow broken or in need of repairing. I know if i took the time, i can easily fix them, and most likely i will start with fixing my Vincent Valentine and Sasuke Uchiha. I'm debating on making a new cosplay but i've realized, i don't watch any new anime. DX
My close-cosplaying friends are in the same boat. The problem with me is that I don't have enough time to start watching a new series/ re-watch my old favorites. Also, time has cut me of my ability to make new cosplays. I used to stay up all night pounding away with my sewing machine but i can't do that anymore in my new house, neither will i buy an outfit online because i have a bad experience with that.

I want to work on video projects like CMV's (cosplay music videos) and post more pictures up on here, but when i refer to my friends to join a long with me, they're just not as much into cosplaying anymore. Its more like the more we talk about the past and watch our old youtube videos, they say "YES im going to cosplay so and so!" but that turns out to be a more in-the-moment kind-of thing. The only other person who is more into cosplaying than the others is into comics now, and im not going to ask her to join me in anymore new cosplays, she has a list of 13 people to do =____=. It's kinda difficult doing cosplay-related stuff when your the only one in your group of friends who does it. </3

Ah. The main point is. I'm going to make time and fix my cosplays, take more pictures, and upload things on my youtube channel.
